A friend gave me some cooking apples off her tree and I thought instead of making a few apple pie's, I'd give cider a lash. Here is day 6 of fermentation, I used GIY dungarvan's recipe. Should be ready for drinking at Christmas. Perfect timing!!
I found some nice ripe mango's today and thought a nice simple mango salsa would go lovely with the beautiful roast chicken had left over from dinner last night. Fast colourful and tasty.
